Frequently Asked Questions

Everyone! We all benefit from clinical supervision at different points in our career. Times when you may be looking for supervision include:
• Early career speech pathologists
• Speech pathologists transitioning into private practice
• Speech pathologists transitioning into a new caseload or an area of practice that you’re less familiar with
• Looking for a second opinion with some more challenging cases

Whatever you want it to. I’m very flexible with my sessions. They may include:
• Case discussions
• Clinical reasoning support
• Review of assessment data and goal setting
• Therapy planning support including resources and activity examples
• A deep dive into specific topics (including lisps, eliciting ‘r’ sounds, SSD assessment, CAS etc).
• Reflective practice
• Professional development planning

Both! I do offer individual supervision sessions, but also very happy to provide small group sessions upon request. I am also able to specific training on specific clinical topics that is individualised for your clinic on request.

Whenever you want! Sessions can be scheduled weekly, fortnightly, or monthly depending on your needs and professional requirements. I’m also able to offer one-off or ad hoc sessions as required.

Marion runs her supervision session via Zoom, making it accessible regardless of location. Once you book a session time, she will email you a Zoom link prior to the booked session.
Supervision sessions are usually 50mins in length to fit around your clinic schedule, however can be 1hour on request.

Marion aims to provide flexible and individualised supervision sessions that meet your learning needs. There is no ‘one-size-fits -all ‘approach! This means our sessions are driven by your needs, aiming to build your confidence and clinical reasoning skills to better support your clients. Marion stays-up-to-date with the latest research as well as has her own clinical caseload. This means that she provides supervision that is evidence-based, that is grounded in practical, real-world paediatric experience.

Although Marion is unable to be in the room with you with your clients, she is able to review videos, audio recordings and/or assessment forms that you can provide.

You can book directly on this web page and select the time that is convenient for you. Alternatively if you can’t find a time that suits, please contact me directly as I do often have other times available around my own clinical caseload.
